Ladies and gentlemen:

Today we gather in Wuxi to study the function of international capital in promoting economic globalization and city internationalization with the common topic of “promoting the prosperity of Asia Pacific region on the basis of innovation”. The senior officials, experts and ceos presented today will establish a platform for exchanges and interaction of wisdom. Hereby, the main point of my speech today is enlarging the opening to optimize the industrial structure of Wuxi.

There are three points:

First industrial levels of Wuxi have been strongly promoted by opening to the outside.

Wuxi is located in the central of Yangtze River delta, situated in the corridor area between the Yangtze river and Taihu lake, connected with shanghai to the east and Nanjing to the north, which is also known as the land of honey and known as well as the pearl of Taihu lake. Wuxi, s one of the most important origins of recent cultural and industrial development has laid a mile stone in the Chinese culture. Today it has become one of china’s 15 economic centers and also an important opening city.

Second promote the benignity interaction between upgrading of industry and opening to the outside world

The global development of international capital cannot exist without China, meanwhile, the optimized upgrading of Wuxi industrial levels cannot happen without opening to outside. The globalization of industrial shift gradually presents the development of the manufacturing industry shifting from low end link to high end link and tendency from the spare parts manufacture to base manufacture. The globalization of industrial promotion, the capital fluidizes across international boundary, the whole supply; chain also adapts and improves thanks to the technological advancement.

Third positively y builds a sound environment for opening to outside and development of industrial promotion.
