The Dialogue between Leaders of Three North Provinces and Asia-Pacific CEOs |
|
Asia-Pacific CEOs Summit---International Cooperation Summit for Asia-Pacific CEOs and Provincial Governors and Mayors was held in MiYun of Beijing city in November, 2005. The summit was sponsored by USA Asia-Pacific CEOs association and Investment Promotion Agency of Ministry of Commerce.
Summit organizing committee based on the principle of practice and high efficency, relating to the northward trend of Chinese economic centre, specially inviting the leaders from notheastern, western, and midland province to have dialogue with the more than hundred CEOs from Asia-Pacific area. The three leaders are the vice myor governor Wang limin from Hei Long Jiang province, the producing vice commander Zhu Jianfan from Xin Jiang province and the vicarious provincial governor Yu Youjun from Shan Xi province.
Following the continuing publication of the economic statistics in the first half year, we could easily find out that the developing centre of Chinese economy had a trend to move north, from South China and East China to northern areas and the northeast areas which are the core of the old industry base. The provinces with rich resouces such as Shan Dong, Liao Ning, Shan Xi, Xin Jiang, Hei Long Jiang, Nei Meng Gu, He Nan are mainly in the north of China, which accelerate the development of economy in the north, at the same time, the developing speed of southern provinces slows down because of the up rising price of energy resouces. Among the top 1000 enterprise in China in 2004, the operating income of enterprise from different provinces presents different changes. In 2004, the total income of enterprise in the top 1000 list from Shan Xi Province increased 101% comparing to last year, Shan Dong province increased 80%, however, the increasing ratesof Jiang Su and Guang Dong province were only 21% and 16%, and Shang Hai did not increase at all. The dramatic changes above relates closely to the benefit distribution changes caused by the uprising price of resouse.
As a result, the dialogue between the three provicial govenors and the CEOs in the Top 500 will mostly catch people's eyes in this summit and will influence the trend of the Chinese economic in some stands. |
