The 1st Global Outsourcing Summit |
|
With the support of the Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Information Industry, on December 11th, 2007, the Global Outsourcing Summit organized by the Asia-Pacific CEO Association, International Outsourcing Center and the Tianjin Municipal government, is held in Tianjin city, which is the municipality directly under the Central Government.
More than 500 people, including statesmen from both home and abroad, global leaders in the outsourcing sector, world-renowned economists as well as delegates from the famous Chinese outsourcing companies attended the summit. 200 out of the Fortune 500 companies, including EDS, IBM, HP, Oracle, MBO, Hitachi, T-Mobile, Cisco, Royal Bank of Canada, TPI and other international famous companies in the filed of outsourcing sector attended the summit.
On the 11th, the guests gave splendid speeches on the summit theme, which is "International outsourcing, the second wave of economic globalization" in the morning. In the afternoon, the conference held seminars on different topics, such as "Strategic orientation of leading cities in the international outsourcing sector" and "Brand strategy and capital operation of leading outsourcing suppliers". Delegates at the conference had heated discussions on the outsourcing strategy for Multinationals, the cutting edge topics and proposed constructive suggestions for global outsourcing. Many of the guests said that Global Outsourcing Summit (GOS) is deserved to attend.
The "Information on important international outsourcing projects" and "Negotiation between outsourcing suppliers and buyers" were also well-received. Through the summit, the international outsourcing buyers and the suppliers, especially the suppliers in Tianjin had the chance to enhance understanding and exchanges, and discovered business cooperation opportunities.
The conference was a complete success and closed on 12th. Until now, the organizing committee of the conference is in the new round of preparation, and looking forward to bringing more results and surprises to the delegates in the next meeting. |
