As the second International Cooperation Summit for Asia-Pacific CEOs and Provincial Governors and Mayors in the city of Wuxi came to a close, the 2006 Hero & CEO Top Ten was announced.
On the evening of 22nd September, Mr. Benjamin Gilman, Global President of the Asia Pacific CEO Association, Mr. Ben John Chen, President of the Asian Party Committee Republican Party of the United States, and Mr. Zheng Xiongwei, Executive Chairman of the Asia-Pacific CEO Association, announced the 2006 Asia-Pacific Hero & CEO Top 10.

Top 10 Selection Process
Step One
The organizing committee of the International Cooperation Summit for Asia-Pacific CEOs & Provincial Governors and Mayors selected 50 individuals from the entrepreneurs who appeared most frequently in the global media from 2005 to 2006.
Step Two
Provide the list of the 50 chosen individuals to relevant media and academic institutions, and select 26 candidates for the “Asia-Pacific Hero & CEO Top 10” on the basis of each individual’s accomplishments.
Step Three
Media and academic institutions vote on the 26 candidates.
Step Four
Candidates are presented for online voting.
Step Five
Each candidate’s ultimate number of votes is calculated by taking into account votes from the public, experts and committee members. The final Top 10 is thereby reached |
