Shi Zhengrong

Shi Zhengrong, CEO of Suntech Power, was born in February 1963. After studying abroad for more than 10 years, he returned and established the Wuxi Suntech Power Company. In 2005 he became the fifth richest person in mainland China with personal assets of US$ 1.3 billion.

Huang Guangyu

Huang Guangyu, President of GOME, 36, a retail-electronics entrepreneur known as the "price butcher." Huang is a classic Chinese rags-to-riches story. At age 16, with just a ninth-grade education, $500 in seed capital and indefatigable drive, he set up a roadside stall in Beijing to sell radios and gadgets purchased from factories near his hometown in southern China. By beating rivals on price and expanding rapidly, Huang has for the past two years led Euromoney's list of China's richest people. He has a personal fortune of $1.7 billion and runs a chain of 420 stores in his Hong Kong-listed Gome Electrical Appliances Holdings Ltd.

Li Xiaolin

Li Xiaolin, CEO of China Power International Development Ltd. Was born in 1961. She was appointed general manager of China Power International Development Ltd in 1996 by the Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.C. In 2005, China Power International Development Ltd. made 4.3 billion RMB, an increase of more than 30% over the previous year.

Jiang Nanchun, CEO of Focus Media, started his business when he was a college student. Now Focus Media has become a company with a monthly revenue of 10 million RMB, and a 75% market share in its industry.
